FEXCO International Payments advises it’s PayDirect users to follow the following tips to help them stay safe online:
Know who you are dealing with - Always access PayDirect by typing the address into your web browser, or from your Favourites. Never go to the website from a link in an email and enter personal details.
Keep passwords safe - Always be wary of unsolicited emails or calls asking you to disclose any personal details. Keep this information secret and choose a secure password. Be wary of disclosing any personal information to someone you do not know. FEXCO International Payments would never contact you to ask you to disclose your password information. It is FEXCO’s policy never to ask you for account details or confidential information via email. If you are sent such an email or access a screen requesting your account or password details, do not reply to it and do not follow the instructions specified, regardless of how genuine the email or website may look.
Keep your PC secure - Use up-to-date anti-virus software and a personal firewall and, if your computer uses the Microsoft Windows operating system, keep it updated from the Microsoft website. Be extra careful if using Internet cafes or any PC that is not your own and over which you have no control.
Check your statement - If you notice anything irregular on your account, contact FEXCO immediately.

Some information about PayDirect's security features:
To ensure the highest level of security of information passing between our customers and FEXCO, PayDirect uses 256-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption exclusively. 256-Bit SSL encryption is a technology which scrambles information while it is sent from one computer to another which prevents the information being viewed by a non-trusted third party.
PayDirect will automatically log you out after a 15 minute period of inactivity. This protects you against unauthorised access. When this happens, your PayDirect session has been timed out and you will need to login again if you wish to continue your access to PayDirect.
Each time you login to PayDirect we will display the date and time of your last login. This is an additional security measure that we have taken to ensure that you know if someone has fraudulently accessed PayDirect using your details.
The first time you login to PayDirect as a new operator, you will be required to change your password.
If an operator enters the incorrect password 5 times in a row, their account will be locked out.
Operator passwords will only be valid for a maximum of 90 days. Then the password will expire and the operator will be required to devise a new password.
